A well-suited match for a brief pit stop in Penzance with reasonable value. Enjoyed sitting in the sunny garden area, despite it being somewhat bare. If you're looking for a quiet drink, visit on a weekday.

The morning view from the sea view room was stunning, offering an unobstructed glimpse of the waves rolling in. The proximity to the ferry port is a major bonus, perfect for those eager to explore the Isles of Scilly.
For the price tag of £120 per night, expectations run high, yet the outdated décor inside desperately needs a refresh. The steep stairs could pose a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. a complete lack of disabled parking made it even more inconvenient. While the breakfast had good variety, it was slightly cramped in the dining area with limited space between tables, making it less comfortable to enjoy meals. the soundproofing isn’t great—ear plugs were provided as a pragmatic touch, hinting at the noise levels during busier nights.

perfect base for exploring nearby parks and cultural spots
The staff were incredibly friendly and the hotel is only a few steps from the stunning Jubilee Pool, making it an ideal spot for leisurely walks in the sun and taking in the coastal views. Whether you're stopping by for a full Cornish breakfast or enjoying dinner by the sea, every meal was well presented and reasonably priced, adding to the enjoyment of my stay.

The room offered a breathtaking view of the bay. Clean and comfy with extra space, perfect for relaxing. The staff were incredibly welcoming right from check-in. I loved the vibrant bar atmosphere in the evenings, a great place to unwind after a day exploring. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh ingredients, especially the cooked options. noise levels from the nearby pub were disruptive. I could hear every conversation clearly at times, despite the ear plugs provided. The shower pressure fluctuated, making it a bit frustrating.
